Residual Blues
A new article has been posted in Rogue's Castle based on a post to the SC Rogue fans on the Club mailing list a while back. The article talks about Rogue's eyes having been colored blue in early issues and about the treatment of the "residues" or residual psyches from Rogue's prior absorptions.

New Members and New Bios
SC has several new members. Some new bios were added and others updated.

SC Bookstore
The SC Shop has started a complete overhaul. The Books area of the shop has been remodeled and some new books have been added to the shelves.

The shop has also been remodeled to expand the video and video gaming areas into their own sections of the SC Shop! Come on in and browse. You'll enjoy the visit and if you decide to buy something, each purchase you make will help raise funds for Southern Comfort - Rogue Fan Club.

This is a questions often asked by Rogue fans.  A new age section, including a chart showing Rogue's approximate age(s) based on various comic book issues and Marvel's given character aging ratios is available at the bottom of Rogue's Stats sheet.

SC has moved to a new server!
Well, we'd barely finished "unpacking" at our last home when we found we'd have to move again.  The last hosting company we used decided to put an end to their mailing list activities.  Unfortunately, they gave us only a few days notice, so we ended up out on the street for a while as we found a new place to settle in.  We're still working on some of the details, but we're back up and running, for the most part. 

One of the things we're still having trouble with is the web forms capabilities on the site.  We've actually had some issues with this, wherever we've been.  If we can't get them working, we may have to take them down, but are hoping it doesn't come to that.

New Members
SC has welcomed several new members in the last few weeks.

Want to read more?  Find out what happened on SC's site last year, or several years ago.  Our club was originally founded in 1998 as a small discussion mailing list for Rogue fans and it remained that way for about a year or so until a change to a brief stint as a distribution-only newsletter quieted the discussion.  When the club reorganized and got a new president, the format was returned to a fan club and discussion group and it has remained as such since, although we've grown to be much more. 

SC now encompasses its own domain, including 5 sub-domains, and maintains its main club mailing list in addition to several sub-lists for members, allowing for group discussions of such things as Fan-Fiction, Chats and Real-Life get-togethers, and open, off-topic discussion of anything at all.  Many long-term friendships have grown on SC and even a couple of marriages!

We're continuing to grow and improve all the time and our future is looking great!
